FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to complex aromatic polyester compositions for making containers. Description is given of a polyester resin, containing at least, 85% mol. polyethyleneterephthalate and, at least, 0.01% mol., but not more than 5.00% mol. links with formula (I): , where: , , , or , where n assumes integer values from 3 to 10 and where M+ is an ion of an alkali or alkali earth metal, phosphonium or ammonium ion. The complex polyester contains less than 5.0 wt % diethylene glycol and Na2HPO4 in such a quantity that, content of phosphorous lies between 10 and 200 p/mln. (based on the mass of complex polyester) and characteristic viscosity ranges from 0.6 to 1.0. The proposed polyester composition has low crystallisation rate, thus provides for cheap production of polyester containers.
EFFECT: obtaining polyester composition with low crystallisation rate, thus providing for cheap production of polyester containers.
