SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer materials, for example to products based on a polyester composition for use in production of packaging, such as packing container, preform for container, to a method of making same. Articles for production of packing container or preform for container comprise a polymer composition, for example, based on polyethylene terephthalate and contains 5 mln-1 to 150 mln-1 tungsten oxide particles of general formula MxWyOz, for example -WO2.72 or WO2.9, and where M is one or more metals, W is tungsten, O is oxygen. Articles in form of preform for packing container is made using injection molding of polyester composition containing tungsten oxide particles.
EFFECT: invention enables fast and efficient heating of various heat-molded articles, for example preforms for packaging containers, while maintaining transparency and achromaticity of articles when using tungsten oxide with such level of quantitative content of tungsten oxide particles in composition.
