FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns method of supersonic gas powder pad weld of protective coatings and can be used for receiving on product of coatings, stable against corrosion, high-temperature or abrasive damage. Preliminarily it is cleaned upper layer of foundation surface. It is mounted labour body with supersonic nozzle of Laval nozzle type relative to foundation vertically or out of upright till 20° in any side. It is chosen distance from nozzle section till foundation surface in range 10-30 mm. Then there are fed burning gases flows and oxidant into combustion chamber of labour body in volume ratio from 1:3 till 1:6 with speed of stream in single flowing route 500-900 m/s in range of temperatures 2200-2500K, creating liquid metallic basin. It is imparted to motion for previously mounted labour body relative to foundation with speed 2-20 mm/s or it is imparted to motion for foundation relative to previously mounted labour body with speed 2-20 mm/s. Simultaneously it is fed by means of compressed air fraction powder alloy 50-120 micrometer with mass flow 3-5 kg/h through the mixing nozzle and single flowing route of labour body into liquid metallic basin and protective coating is formed on surface.
EFFECT: improving of applied protective coatings and efficiency of the supersonic gas powder pad weld process at reduction of cost price of received coatings 2,5-3,0 times.
