FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for supersonic laser deposition of powder materials and a device that implements it, and can be used in laser powder deposition. Method includes laser deposition using supersonic flow of heated inert gas and powder filler material supplied through a nozzle with a Laval profile, and simultaneously heating the surface of a workpiece with a laser beam from the optical head without melting the base and the powder material, while the optical system of the head forms a laser beam broadened to the diameter of the gas-powder flow and separately focuses the central and peripheral areas of the laser beam in such a way that the best focusing of the laser radiation and the maximum heating of the surface of the processed product by the laser beam is carried out in the peripheral zone of the gas-powder flow, and in the axial zone of the flow defocused laser beam acts. Device contains a supersonic nozzle with a Laval profile fixed motionless, a system for moving a workpiece holder in space, a flow-through heating system for transport gas, a powder feeder, a mixing chamber, a laser optically coupled to a focusing system, optical system for forming a series of ring laser beams with adjustable energy distribution between them, a rotating mirror, in the hole of which a supersonic nozzle is installed, and a multifocal lens.

EFFECT: invention provides higher spatial homogeneity of the physicochemical properties of a deposited layer, higher utilization rate of the powder, lower energy consumption for processing a unit of the surface area of a product and higher productivity of a deposition method.
