FIELD: physics, measurement.
SUBSTANCE: optoelectronic device for irregular-shaped item control comprises first and second optoelectronic heads set on different sides of the item under control and each consisting of an emision source, two objective lenses and a multielement photodetector, a sweep circuit with its first and second outputs being respectively connected to the first and second outputs of the multielement photodetectors of the first and second optoelectronic heads. First videosignal extraction unit with its input being connected to the data output of the multielement photodetector of the first optoelectronic head, pulse frequency divider with its input being connected to the third output of the sweep circuit, first and second pulse chain combining units with their first and second data inputs being respectively connected to the third output of the sweep circuit and the output of the pulse frequency divider. First and second "distance to the item" code generators with their data inputs being respectively connected to the outputs of the first and second pulse chain combining units and their outputs being the outputs of the device. Fourth and fifth outputs of the sweep circuit are respectively connected to the third and fourth inputs of the multielement photodetector of the first optoelectronic head. There are also a second videosignal extraction unit with its input being connected to the data output of the multielement photodetector of the second optoelectronic head and an item thickness code generator with its first and second data inputs being respectively connected to the outputs of the first and second pulse chain combining units and with its outputs being third outputs of the device. Outputs of the first and second videosignal extraction units are connected to the driving inputs of respectively first and second pulse chain combining units, third and fourth inputs of the multielement photodetector of the second optoelectronic head are connected respectively to the fourth and fifth outputs of the sweep circuit, setup inputs of the first and second pulse chain combining units, first and second "distance to the item" code generators and item thickness code generator are connected to the fifth output of the sweep circuit.
EFFECT: enhancing speed of generating code X1 and X2, expanding the device functionality by delivering the controlled item thickness T code to the device outputs.
