FIELD: television equipment. SUBSTANCE: former of videosignal includes strip 1 of photodetectors, two phase-shifting registers 2 and 3, videoamplifier 4, level fixing unit 5, storage and retrieval unit 6, master generator 7, pulse distributor 8, divider 9, delay unit 10, OR gate 11. Pulse distributor has two flip-flops, two NOT gates, four AND gates and OR gate. Expansion of dynamic range of videosignal is achieved by provision for referencing each photodetector of strip 1 to dark level of output signal and by that by extraction of pure increment which corresponds to extraction of videosignal independent of level of dark geometrical noise.
