FIELD: physics; optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical data encoding, decoding and transmitting devices, in particular, to optical signal switching devices used in computer networks. Switching device comprises six logical units. Logical unit comprises inputs/outputs from the first to the sixth one. The first input/output of the1st - the 6th logical units is input/output of the 1st - the 6th channels of the switching device, respectively. The 2nd - the 6th inputs/outputs of the first logical unit are connected, respectively, to the 2nd input/output of the second logical unit, to the 3rd input/output of the sixth logical unit, to the 4th input/output of the third logical unit, to the 5th input/output of the fifth logical unit and to the 6th input/output of the fourth logical unit. The 3rd - the 6th inputs/outputs of the second logical unit are connected, respectively, to the 3rd input/output of the third logical unit, to the 4th input/output of the fourth logical unit, to the 5th input/output of the sixth logical unit and to the 6th input/output of the fifth logical unit. The 2nd, the 5th and the 6th inputs/outputs of the third logical unit are connected, respectively, to the 2nd input/output of the fourth logical unit, to the 4th input/output of the fifth logical unit and to the 6th input/output of the sixth logical unit.
EFFECT: simplified optical signal switching device and enhanced functional capabilities thereof.
