FIELD: physics, processing of images.
SUBSTANCE: invention deals with product counterfeit protection devices and provides for falsification prevention. Method envisages imaging of an info label integrated in a bulk of optically transparent material through its structural modification as a result of thermal treatment by means of radiation energy concentration at a certain point of the material bulk, the radiation energy concentration point translocation within the material bulk and modulation of the radiation power in the course of the above translocation as per the algorithm assigned. The info label real image is pre-encoded with the info label imaging inside the optically transparent material bulk proceeding in the coded form, the technique providing for feasibility of its real form decoding for eventual visual identification. To provide for the method practical implementation one proposes two design variants of a product counterfeit protection device as well as the optical coder and decoder fabrication method.
EFFECT: improved product unlawful reproduction protection.
