FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: by analysing an electric signal obtained from a radio source, the device enables control of illumination of a second source to notify the user on detection of secret optical properties inherent to a security mark in a document in the inspection zone. Optical channels for transmitting radiation from the document to a radiation receiver and from the second source to the document can contain an optical system with positive optical power. The second source can be included in a given periodic sequence which characterises the type of the detected mark, and also change illumination colour, create a visible image on the surface of the object containing the mark or an information message; the radiation receiver can be multi-element, and intensity distribution of the light from the second source in the inspection zone reflects distribution of values of the physical quantity characterising the security mark.
EFFECT: easier observation by viewing the security mark and lifting constraints on brightness.
