FIELD: physics, computer technology.
SUBSTANCE: referring to the sphere of instrument engineering, the invention enables erasure of information recorded on heterogeneous semiconductor media (such as flash-memory). Recorded information erasure device consists of direct current source, power actuator, current divider, damper unit, capacitor-based energy storage unit, switching unit, solenoid-based field-formation system, controller, four-wire cable and four-contact connector. The field-formation system is composed of frame with four solenoids mounted on it, installed one inside another. The first solenoid pair has oblique coil winding with the winding wire coils skewed at an acute angle relative to the solenoid longitudinal edges within the frame narrow side planes. The second solenoid pair has zig-zag winding with the coils skewed at an acute angle within the frame wide and narrow side planes Under the effect of the rapidly changing electromagnetic field generated by the device the charge arrangement structure of the semiconductor recording media undergoes modifications.
EFFECT: qualitative improvement and acceleration of irretrievable information erasure.
