SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of electric communication and computer engineering, namely to systems of information protection against unauthorised access, mentioned information is contained on magnetic carriers (3.5 inch discs, diskettes and reservoirs of UMEGA type, hard disks, audio- and video-cassettes), in case of their unauthorised carrying out from closed premises. Container device for efficient destruction of information on magnetic carriers comprises control device, field-producing system from even number of N flat spiral solenoids, energy accumulator, two power supply sources, three controlled switches, two electronic switches and switch-breaker of the second power supply source, charging device, device of grid connection, converter of AC voltage into DC voltage, voltage stabiliser, microcontroller, indication device, device for indication switch-off, generator of rectangular voltage pulses, delay line, the first and second electronic switches, current generator, button, start-up device, switching device, fan, temperature sensor, sensor of magnetic field intensity, capacitance sensor, device of individual detection and metal container. Electronic part of device, excluding devices of individual detection, is installed inside metal container.

EFFECT: reduced dimensions of solenoids, provision of simultaneous erasure from two and more magnetic carriers, design of field-producing system provides for variation of vector directions and value of magnetic field intensity, high extent of protection against unauthorised access to information of magnetic carrier.
