FIELD: technological processes; metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method for rolling of sectional bars includes simultaneous billet deformation in several roll openings serially installed along with rolling direction. Even deformation in all passages and stabilisation of geometric dimensions of finished profiles is provided by the fact that rolling is carried out simultaneously at least in 4...6 roll openings of roll openings system comprising alternating oval and round or square diagonal roll openings, at that ratio of rolling-out values in two neighbouring roll openings is changed according to the following dependence: μO/μK =0.0175·i2-0.153·i+1.458, where μO - value of rolling-out in previous oval roll opening; μK - the same in subsequent round or square roll opening; i - serial number of odd roll opening opposite to rolling direction.
EFFECT: higher quality of rolled round and square sectional bars.
