SUBSTANCE: printer connected to network, contains data processor and authentication information output server, communication module transferring information specifying required authentication information to data processor. Authentication information is required to run printing based on print data transferred from data processor. Herewith authentication information is presented form authentication information output server. Besides, printer contains receiving module and printing module. Moreover, offered are data processor connected to network and data processor adapted for network connection. Network printer control procedure with network data processor and authentication information output server contains stages as follows. Data processor receives information specifying required authentication information. After information received, print job is performed on the basis of received print data. Network data processor control procedure with network printer and authentication information output server contains stages as follows. Addressing information of authentication information output server is received from printer. Based on received addressing information, authentication information output server is addressed. Authentication information is received and transferred to printer together with print data. In other version of data processor control procedure, search information required for searching authentication information output server is initially transferred to network. Besides, offered are record mediums storing computer program and operating printers and data processors.
