SUBSTANCE: proposed holding device has an upper tension bar, with a rigid fastener to a pylon, first and second tie rods. Each rod is joined to the engine using the first ball and socket joint on one side, and to a tension bar on the other side, using the second ball and socket joint. Each tie rod has a third spare joint, and the tie rods are interchangeable.
EFFECT: minimisation of the risk of error when assembling the device for joining an engine to the structure of an aircraft.
