FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: rear holding device of an aircraft engine comprises an upper tension bar, held by a fastener pylon, on which three link crossbars are freely suspended using second ball and socket joints. The link crossbars lie transversely relative the longitudinal axis of the engine. The first and second link crossbars are on both sides of the axis of the engine, and the third link crossbar lies between them. The link crossbars are joined to the engine by the first ball and socket joint. The first and second link crossbars comprise a third spare joint with a rotating axial pin, fitted with a gap into its support opening.
EFFECT: minimisation of the risk of error when assembling the device for joining an engine to the structure of an aircraft.
