SUBSTANCE: proposed box has an upper panel, upper side panels, joined to the upper panel, lower side panels, joined respectively to upper side panels on corresponding fold lines and at least one lower panel, joined to at least one of the lower side panels. The side end panels are joined respectively to sides of lower side panels, and the upper end panels are joined respectively to sides of upper panels. The box also has cross connections, joined to upper end panels along fold lines. Each cross connection comprises an inward bending panel, angle coupling panel and a narrow part. The inward bending panels are correspondingly adjacent side end panels, and the cross connection tapering is formed between the inward bending panel and the side end panel, which is adjacent to the cross connection. Each narrow part is meant for pushing back the inward bending panels when making the box and each narrow part is formed as a region between fold lines, joining the lower side panel to the upper side panel and the outer periphery of the work piece. The proposed group of inventions also pertains to a work piece for making the above mentioned box and to a method of making the box from intermediate parts. The proposed group of inventions allows for making a box on a bending machine, without bending fingers.
