SUBSTANCE: invention can be applied in chemical industry for obtaining decaborane. Method of obtaining decaborane from sodium borohydride involves intermediary sodium undecaborate forming and its oxidation to decaborane. For sodium borohydride condensation to sodium undecaborate, boron trifluoride diglymate is used. Manganese dioxide, or aqueous solution of chrome anhydride, or trivalent iron salts are used as oxidants.
EFFECT: increased output of target product.
