FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns silicate technology and glaze compositions for applying onto ceramics. Glaze includes the following components, wt %: reduced natural barite 30-60; obsidian 10-20; manganese ore 0.5-5; the rest is glass or frit melting at 600-950°C. Glaze forms smooth, shining coating of various colours (from light violet to black).
EFFECT: expanded colour range of coating.
