FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of silicates and glase compositions for applying on ceramics. The glase contains ground natural barite and ground pearlite which is pre-expanded at temperature 850-1200°C, with the following ratio of components in wt %: ground natural barite 10-20; said pearlite 80-90. The glase can also contain a colouring additive: ochre and/or red lead in amount of 0.1-10.0 wt %.
EFFECT: obtaining environmentally safe glase.
