FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns silicate technology and glaze compositions for application onto ceramics. Glaze includes the following components, wt %: reduced natural barite 10-20; glass or frit melting at 600-950°C 50-70; perlite 10-40. Glaze includes perlite dried at 350-400°C and further bloated at 850-1200°C and reduced.
EFFECT: obtaining low cost glaze forming smooth, shining coating on ceramics.
