FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be implemented at production of high-duty wire out of low copper alloy - chromium-zirconium bronze with addition of calcium. After tempering of a stock from the temperature of 800°C there is performed its drawing to the condition of an intermediary stock. Low temperature tempering of intermediary stock is performed at the temperature of 480-500°C with holding during 4-5 hours. After drawing of the stock ready wire is tempered in a draw furnace at the temperature of 540-550°C for not less, than 15 seconds. The suggested method of treatment ensures obtaining physic-mechanical properties of wire, notably its specific electrical resistance, completely meeting requirements of regulations and severe operational environment.
