FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forming of articles of dispersion-ageing aluminium blanks and can be used for production of long semis of thin and super thin cross-section of critical parts used in electrical engineering, machine building and aircraft engineering. This process comprises plastic deformation of aluminium alloy blanks of Al-Si-Mg and Al-Cu-Mg systems by multipass rolling or drawing at pulse current with density of 10-1000 A/mm2 and pulse length of 50-1000 mcs to get accumulated true deformation e>1. Note here that at every pass deformation is effected with true data of 0.01-0.1 at decrease in current density in compliance with the following ratio: j2×τ=const, where j is current density, A/mm2, τ is pulse length, mcs.
EFFECT: nanostructured semis as 1,0 mm-deep wires, sheets and strips of higher strength and ductility.
