SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cards for selecting with a piezoelectric actuator, meant to be used in a Jacquard machine. Compact electric card for selection has a set of picking crotchets with a high density of arrangement, individually positioned by the piezoelectric elements of the actuator. Each piezoelectric element directly controls a picking hook for its adhesion with the corresponding crotchet rod, connected with a thread of the base. Linked rods are then lifted for shedding. As every piezoelectric element directly positions a crotchet, rather than indirectly controlling the positioning mechanism, the card for selection becomes mechanically simple and compact.
EFFECT: obtaining mechanically simple and compact cards.
