FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns construction industry, namely a roof of arch and cable space structure and can be used for construction of buildings of various applications. Sport and entertainment facilities, exhibition pavilions, shopping and storage buildings, above-ground parking areas and industrial buildings. As a result load-carrying capacity and stiffness of the roof are increased. The arch and cable roof includes an outside and inside support profiles, intermediate arches, suspension cables and diagonal members. The diagonal members are made in the form of arches, one end of which is supported on the columns installed in the building corners and the other end is supported on the inside support profile, and are supported by compressed columns and tensional inclined cables made non-prestressed from twin steel strips.
EFFECT: increased load-carrying capacity and stiffness of the roof.
