SUBSTANCE: invention refers to iron and steel industry, particularly to compositions of iron. It can be implemented for fabricating items operating under conditions of overstress impact loads. Iron contains, wt %: carbon 2.8-3.4; silicon 0.1-0.3; manganese 0.4-0.6; chromium 0.3-0.7; molybdenum 1.6-2.0; aluminium 0.2-0.3; vanadium 0.4-0.6; tungsten 0.4-0.6; cerium 0.24-0.3; iron - the rest.
EFFECT: facilitating high impact strength.
