FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to physical and chemical techniques of generating heat, hydrogen and oxygen. The device for generating heat energy and a gas-vapour mixture has a cylindrical housing made of dielectric material, a cylindrical anode and two hollow cathodes, made of refractory material, fitted coaxially with provision for axial movement, and acting as inlets and outlets. On the hollow cathode, acting as an inlet, there is a permanent magnet magnetic lens. The anode and cathodes are connected to a regulated dc power source.
EFFECT: increased energy efficiency of the device due to increased heat energy in the process of breaking down water structure using magnetic field.
