FIELD: textile fabrics, paper.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to textile industry, namely to production of refined flax fiber. Method for cleaning of flax fiber includes tillage of fiber with simultaneous shortening, then hard particles are separates by means of simultaneous action of air centrifugal flow and multiple impact action with application of picker rollers at the rate of their rotation of 700-1200 rpm, afterwards repeated tillage is carried out with simultaneous shortening of fibers to average masslength of 35-55 mm with further separation of hard particles by method specified above.
EFFECT: lower content of short fiber in end product with residual content of chaff of not more than 1%, reduced losses of fiber mechanical strength and increased process efficiency.
