FIELD: mining..
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to degassing of coal mines, particularly to equipment for decreasing explosion hazard of coal mines. The facility consists of a compressor, of an air intake device placed in places of the most probable methane concentration (for example in direct vicinity from coal miner of high efficiency), of a system of two successively connected vortex tubes for liquefying of methane equipped with nozzles for tangential supply of air-methane mixture into tubes, of a diaphragm with apertures centrally located in ends of tubes adjacent to nozzles, of regulated circular slits on opposite ends of pipes. The diaphragm of the first vortex tube downstream the mixture is connected with the nozzle of mixture supply into the second vortex pipe downstream the mixture. The compressor is connected with an air intake device and with the supply nozzle of the first vortex tube. The diaphragm of the second vortex tube is connected with a separator of liquid methane from air; the said separator is connected is also connected with a tank for liquefied methane or with a pipeline for exhaust of methane from a mine.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of coal mines degassing and also providing possibility of methane utilisation under mine conditions.
