FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: method is intended for assembling hydraulic cylinder using semi-ring joint. The head furnished with a ledge on its outer surface is fitted into the cylinder sleeve so that the ledge end face surface rests upon the seat preliminary made on the sleeve inner surface, and is inserted into the semi-ring groove.
EFFECT: simpler process and high-reliability of sleeve-to head joint tightness.
