FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline valving with electromagnetic drive and is designed to be used in gas-handling facilities. The proposed safety shut-off electromagnetic valve comprises a body with an inlet union, a stem, a valve and electromagnetic drive. The valve closed, the valve contact end face rests upon the inlet union seat. The proposed tubular valve represents a hollow cylinder with equal-area end faces. One end face features a contact part. The valve side surface features a rack with its teeth in mesh with the stem gear, the stem being arranged in the valve body perpendicular to the valve axis. Pull-in electromagnetic valve is fitted outside the valve body with the help of a bracket. A band tie joints the electromagnetic drive armature with the flywheel attached to the stem tail.
EFFECT: reduced control force and simpler design.
