SUBSTANCE: invention is related to systems of wireless communication. Device and method for control of data transmission speed in system of wireless communication in service transmission comprises terminal that identifies active set containing service base station and at least one non-servicing base station compared to terminal that exchanges data with network at the first speed of data transmission, which receives the first parameter of speed control from service base station and the second parameter of speed control from at least one non-servicing base station, at that the first and second parameters of speed control are associatively connected with determination of the second speed of terminal data control in process of service transmission, and determining the second speed of data transmission in response to the first and second parameters of speed control, at that the second speed of data transmission one of increased speed, reduced speed and the same speed compared to the first speed of data transmission.
EFFECT: efficient transmission of data by terminal by account of resources condition and condition of terminal channel.
