FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns method of aromatic compound alkylation by olefins involving solid catalyst, and method of solid catalyst recovery involving repeated use of raw aromatic material used for catalyst recovery. Raw aromatic material in exhaust flow from standstill alkylation reactor is bypassed without intermediary separation onto sorbent layer, which undergoes further desorption. Thus raw aromatic material is recycled in desorption. Raw aromatic material in exhaust flow from sorbent undergoing desorption is bypassed to active reactor, so that raw aromatic material in exhaust flow from sorbent layer is used thrice before bypassing to product extraction section. Exhaust flow from sorbent layer undergoing desorption is bypassed to separation section connected to sorbent layer, while the flow containing raw aromatic material is extracted in separation section and bypassed to active alkylation reactor where raw aromatic material applied for catalyst recovery is used several times.
EFFECT: efficient use of raw aromatic material.
