FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: present invention discloses relates to a method of removing benzene from feedstock for making gasoline mixtures. Method of removing benzene from feedstock for making gasoline mixtures includes steps of: feeding feedstock containing benzene into a unit for catalytic reforming to obtain an outlet stream containing C5+ hydrocarbons; by bypass of at least part of outlet stream containing C5+ hydrocarbons, into a reformate separation column for producing at least one stream containing a benzene-rich reformate stream; bypassing the benzene-rich reformate stream to a benzene saturation reactor in a benzene saturation unit to obtain a stream of saturated reformate; bypassing the stream of saturated reformate into a flash tower in a benzene saturation unit to obtain a benzene depleted stream and a stream of waste gases; and sending the waste gas flow for recycling to the extraction unit at repeated introduction into contact for extracting gaseous hydrogen and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). Apparatus for removing benzene from feedstock for making gasoline mixtures in accordance with said method includes: installing catalytic reforming to convert heavy naphtha into high octane liquid reformate; extraction plant at repeated contact with the downstream of the catalytic reforming unit; stabilization column located downstream of extraction plant at repeated contacting; a reformate separation column located downstream of the stabilization column downstream of the process stream; a benzene saturation unit arranged downstream of the reformate separation column; wherein the benzene saturation unit further includes a benzene saturation reactor and a stripping column; and where the stripping column is located downstream of the benzene saturation reactor in the benzene saturation unit.
EFFECT: creation of improved method and equipment for reduction of benzene content levels in gasoline at reduced outlays in terms of equipment and investments that can be used in application fields during production organization "from scratch" or during production modernization.
