Cast iron contains, wt %: carbon 3.0-3.6; silicon 0.6-0.8; manganese 2.8-3.2; copper 1.4-1.8; boron 0.2-0.3; chrome 32.0-34.0; sodium 0.0001-0.00018; phosphorus 1.55-1.65; iron - the rest.
EFFECT: hardening of cast iron.
