SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to composition of iron. Iron contains components at the following ratio, wt %: carbon 2.9-3.2; silicon 2.4-2.8; manganese 0.6-1.0; phosphorus 0.04-0.06; sulphur 0.01-0.03; boron 0.1-0.14; copper 1.4-1.6; chromium 0.3-0.5; tungsten and/or hafnium 0.2-0.3; cobalt 0.15-0.23; iron - the rest.
EFFECT: upgraded strength of iron.
