Cast iron contains, wt %: carbon 3.6-3.8; silicon 1.6-2.0; manganese 0.6-0.8; chrome 0.45-0.65; molybdenum 0.45-0.65; copper 1.0-1.4; beryllium 0.012-0.015; boron 0.12-0.15; iron - the rest.
EFFECT: hardening of cast iron.
