SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy field, particularly to composition of cast iron. Cast iron contains components in a following ratio, wt %: carbon 3.2-3.6; silicon 1.8-2.2; manganese 0.6-1.0; copper 1.2-1.4; aluminium 0.3-0.35; calcium 0.001-0.002; zinc 0.002-0.004; lithium 0.0005-0.001; phosphorus 0.05-0.1; barium nitride 0.01-0.02; strontium 0.005-0.01; vanadium 0.6-0.8; iron - the rest.
EFFECT: hardening of cast iron.
