SUBSTANCE: invention concerns the scope of definition of flaws situation in the submerged empty construction, in particular the underwater pipeline. The method of exterior determination of the flaws situation located in a submerged empty construction PL which have been found prestressly out by device RTE moving in the submerged hollow construction, and are positioned by calculation of the scores located on equal intervals, beginning from initial, accessible from within and outside of the shipped empty construction PL, consisting that spot calculation, since the beginning, a score, accessible outside of the submerged hollow construction; position the module of radio respondent T on a score, identify the module of radio respondent T an identification code; spot number of the scores separating aforementioned flaw and the aforementioned module identified of radio respondent T. Besides, the invention concerns the device for the method realisation, intended for determination of flaws situation from the outside, located in the hollow submerged construction (PL) which have prestressly been found out by the mobile device (RTE) in the submerged hollow construction (PL), and are positioned by calculation from an initial score of quantity of the scores located on identical intervals, accessible from within and outside of the submerged empty construction (PL) which contains resorts of definition by calculation of a score, accessible outside of the hollow submerged construction (PL), beginning from the same initial score, a resort of positioning of the module of the radio respondent (T) on an aforementioned score, resorts of identification of the module of the radio respondent (T) a code of identification, means of definition of number of the scores separating flaws and the module of the identified radio respondent (T).

EFFECT: decrease in hazard of an error in determination of a place of damage or flaw.
