FIELD: control and authentication of quality and origins of meat products by means of electronic marking.

SUBSTANCE: in accordance to method for controlling meat products, animal (10) on birth is provided with at least one electronic mark (20), containing communication means and identification code. Certain address is provided in database (60), connected to network, renewed via wireless communication (50) from mark (20) for at least one receiver (40), connected to device for detecting position and device for determining time, connected to network, information about time and position of animal (10) is recorded. Additional information about animal is recorded in database (60). Recorded information is used for sanctioning at least one sign from butchering and distribution group, for at least one operation of meat production, meat product manufacture and cattle breeding. During butchering, each piece of cut meat is marked, each additional mark contains code and communication means, connected to address of database (60), information about time and meat position detection is recorded via aforementioned receiver. During packaging of spliced meat marks are scanned and deleted from cut meat pieces, and each packaged product is later provided with replacement ark, containing code and communication means, connected to at least one address of database (60), information is recorded using the receiver.

EFFECT: increased efficiency.
