SUBSTANCE: proposed automatic gun with removable barrel insert pertains to small arms. The device has a sabot simulator, front support, gas engine, barrel extension with a lock, electric trigger and a retention mechanism of the breechblock of the artillery system. The retention mechanism consists of a threaded anchor post with an end opening under the breechblock stop, nuts, put into the thread of the post, a bolt fitted into the post, and a lock at the end of the bolt. The retention mechanism of the breechblock has another end opening, located on the nut.

EFFECT: possibility of fitting the automatic gun with removable barrel insert into artillery systems with various arrangements on the breech of the base piece of the breechblock stop without dismantling the loading mechanism bed.
