FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to the connected phase rating for the unknown phase regarding reference phase voltage in power distribution systems ensured with the multi-phase power transmission line. According to the invention, to rate the connected phase remotely, i.e. at a long distance from the reference point at least one retransmission link is arranged between reference point and remote point. The above transmission link is connected to the connected phase of the multi-phase power transmission line. Then, the first phase ratio between the connected reference phase voltage and connected phase voltage in the retransmission link is defined. After that, the second phase ratio between the connected phase voltage in retransmission link and connected phase voltage in the remote point is determined. The next stage provides for defining connected phase in the remote point with regard to the connected phase in the reference point based on the first phase ratio and the second phase ratio. The specific feature of the invention is that the specified first phase ratio is transmitted from the specified retransmission link to the specified remote point. Owing to this, no direct communication channel is required between the remote and reference points to rate the phase ratio.
EFFECT: improved reliability of the connected phase rating.
