FIELD: physics, nuclear physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns power. The nuclear power plant contains a fast helium reactor, steam and gas generators and system of clearing and helium storage. The reactor core and steam and gas generators are included in a closed circuit of helium circulation, forming cold and hot legs and joined to system of clearing and helium storage. Installation contains the capacities filled with water or a water solution of boric acid, the circulations of helium connected to a contour, and also the technological condenser. The input pipeline of the technological condenser is joined to a hot leg of the helium circulation contour. The output pipeline is supplied with the condensate pump and joined to a polluted condensate tank. In a reactor, two heat transfer mediums are used: helium - in an installation operating mode on power, and water - at normal and emergency stop of the installation. In emergency mode of installation operation, the water solution of boric acid arrives in heat-generating making ups of the reactor core and is volatilised. Replacement of helium and water steam from the circulation contour is yielded in the technological condenser and further in the polluted condensate tank.
EFFECT: effective cooling of the reactor core.
