FIELD: agricultural industry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to the agricultural machinery industry and may be used for cutting and chopping needs. The reaper-chopper includes an open-face U-shaped case which side walls are equipped with skid elements. A header, carrier wheel, and drive gear are mounted onto the case. Vertical output shaft of the gear drive has a beam with blades hingedly attached to its ends. The case side walls are equipped with pickup gatherers for laid branches that are installed on the face surface of skid elements, made in the form of vertical pins with attachment brackets and bent forward and downward behind faces of the end piece skid elements.
EFFECT: effective cutting and chopping of bush branches.
