SUBSTANCE: mower-grinder of green manure crops comprises a housing 1 of trough-shaped section, open at its front and the rear parts, support wheels 2, support bearing assemblies 3 for mounting a series of parallel shafts 4 with cutting knives 5 tiered mounted on them, a drive. The support wheels 2 are mounted on two side walls of the housing 1. On the housing 1 a swivel device is mounted for connecting the housing to the front hitch 11 of the tractor. The drive is made in the form of angle gears connected with each other and with the hydraulic motor. The housing 1, pivotally mounted on the hitch of the tractor 11, is mounted with its longitudinal surface tilted back at an angle to the horizon. The shafts 4 with the cutting blades 5 are mounted in the support bearing assemblies 3 of the housing 1 parallel to its longitudinal surface.

EFFECT: reduction of energy consumption and improvement of quality of the plant grinding process.
