FIELD: medicine, veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: method is performed by arc osteotomy of superacetabular area within edge section of joint hollow dysplastically alternated to the largest degree. Further the separated fragment is shifted in steps by arc path, combined with partial fragment deviation from adjoining bone area against largest joint hollow edge defect to restore required hollow 'dome' size by external fixation device.
EFFECT: reduced trauma rate of operation, prevention of recurrent dislocation due to complete restoration of dysplastically alternated edge segment of joint hollow for small domestic animals.
