FIELD: entertainment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to theatre puppets moving under manual control. The puppet consists of a body, head, hands, legs, manual drive, a mechanism ensuring head rotations, a mechanism for drive interacting with legs and ensuring rotational motion of legs, and mechanisms ensuring head flexions and shoulders lifting. The shoulders are installed on drive and do not depend on drive rotation. The mechanism ensuring leg rotation is implemented so that it can rotate legs with regard to body. The mechanism ensuring head rotation and flexion and shoulders lifting and the related drive are implemented so that they can be controlled by puppet master fingers. The puppet hand with fingers and palm contains lever system of flexion for, at least, one finger, except thumb, gear with motor. The lever system consists of a frame with one end part being rigidly fixed in the thumb, and two levers resting on hinges. The hinges are provided with interacting extensions. One lever is situated on the palm and connected with gear by means of screw mechanism with gear. The second lever and corresponding end part of frame are situated on one of four fingers.
EFFECT: puppet is capable of having independent motions imitating natural human motions.
