VERTICAL HYDRAULIC PRESS FOR PRODUCTION OF STEEL BIG-DIAMETER SEAMLESS PIPES Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC B30B15/00 

FIELD: metal working.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns metal working by pressure. Particularly it concerns press equipment for pipes manufacturing. Press contains transportable stand with top and bottom transverse beams, located between them container holder with drive, fixed tie beam and process tool, including container, mandrel, compression ram and matrix. From the top of the cross arm it is mounted in-out table, and from the bottom it is located main assembly. Mandrel is affixed at the top transverse beam of transportable stand. Compression ram is installed in located between this transverse beam and container additional transverse beam, outfitted by subsidiary drive for displacement of compression ram relative to mandrel. At the table of press there are located plug for piercing and matrix for pressing. In fixed tie beam it is implemented vertical groove for providing of pressed pipe displacement from the press axis to removal position, and on bottom transverse beam of transportable stand is located stop for pipe expulsion from matrix.

EFFECT: by means of solid ingots usage, aggregation of operations, ingot piercing and pipes pressing in one operational cycle of press, implementation of piercing excursion and pressing from one common drive it is provided reduction of capital necessary process environment amount, labour coefficient reduction and process productivity improvement, design simplification, reduction of capacity, overall dimensions and weight of press, capital expenditures reduction.
