FIELD: aeronautical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to propellers with variable blade pitch the variable blade pitch propeller comprises blades (6) linked up, via torsions (2), with shaft (1) and elements designed to control the pitch of every blade. Every torsion (2), on the whole flexible section between blade (6) and shaft (1), or in an area of the said length, represents a beam made up of a set of open-section lengthwise power elements jointed together by an elastic filler. The said power elements are rigidly jointed together in twisting and bending areas, at the joints between the torsion, blade, shaft and intermediate parts, as well as in areas of twisting and bending of one torsion or between torsions.
EFFECT: simpler design, lower weight.
