FIELD: aeronautical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: set of proposed invention relates to aircraft safety procedures and prevention of act of terrorism aboard aircraft. The proposed method exploits sophisticated signals with a combined amplitude modulation and phase manipulation along with duplex radio communication between the aircraft crew and control tower personnel. The proposed system comprises transceivers mounted aboard the aircraft and on the ground interconnected via appropriate radio channel. There can be explosive devices arranged in the engine nacelles, while the control board is mounted on the ground.
EFFECT: higher reliability of hostage extraction from aircraft hijacked by terrorists.
