The central information processing device 30 comprises a receiving antenna 23, a high frequency amplifier 24, a search unit 25, a heterodyne 26, a mixer 27, an intermediate frequency amplifier 28, a phase-shift keyed signal detector 29, spectrum analysers 31 and 33, a phase doubler 32, a comparator unit 34, a threshold unit 35, a delay line 36, a switch 37, narrow band-pass filters 38 and 40, a phase halver 39, a phase detector 41 and a recording unit 42.

EFFECT: high accuracy and reliability of identifying objects without self-contained power sources using radio-frequency labels operating on surface acoustic waves and compound phase-shift keyed signals.
